Vegetable Garden Site Visit / Coaching
$100
If you are in Monroe County, NY, I will personally come to your garden to assess for adequate spacing, sunlight, fencing efficacy and soil health. I will test the soil and come back with any specific soil-building recommendations. I’ll be able to tell you what you can plant given the constraints of your location. Additionally, I will create a personalized garden layout plan for the vegetables you’d like to grow, including companion plants (e.g. what plants to plant next to each other for best results) and flowers to attract beneficial insects. Or, we can spend the time planting seeds and starter plants, where I can teach you proper seed depth, spacing, and companion planting as we go.
It’s your time, so we can spend it however you’d like - including troubleshooting issues you’ve had this season or in the past which you’d like to prevent.
Growing Together: Weekly Program
$75
Don’t you sometimes wish that someone would tell you exactly what to do in your garden, and exactly when to do it? Well, that’s what I’m here for! Each week, I will offer guidance on the tasks of the week and how best to accomplish them. This way, you’ll never over or under fertilize. You’ll know when to succession plan for a continual harvest, or when to sow new seeds for a Fall harvest. And, don’t worry, I won’t suggest hours of tasks every week. Some weeks, the task might only take 10 minutes.
From soil health to seasonal planting strategies, this program will elevate your gardening experience and yield bountiful results.

Gardening Services Add-Ons
Custom-created spreadsheet for every vegetable you want to grow. You can use this spreadsheet year after year so you know what to plant, when to plant it, and what companion plants will help it.
Garden ‘sitting’ when you’re out of town and need someone to check on/take care of your garden (Monroe County residents only).
Season extending techniques: I’ll show you how to start planting in March and continue to harvest until November, so you too can grow more, for longer!
Continuous flower blooms: I can teach you which flowers to plant so you’ll have continuous blooms from Spring through Autumn. (I did this at my house, and it’s wonderful!).
Soaker hose installation. Soaker hoses make vegetable gardening so much easier for a variety of reasons, but they can be a pain to install. I will order all the supplies and set it up for you, along with a digital hose timer that you can control from your smartphone.
Butterfly garden design. Do you want to install a butterfly or memorial garden? I can help you select the appropriate plants and layout to make that happen.
